Time to Say Goodbye in Bali!

It has been a month since Fred and myself arrived to the Bali IHF Center. Time flies! It is now time to say goodbye and continue our Indonesian adventure in the Java island.

In this month we have taught children English, computer, facts about European cultures, how to slackline , how to use a dictionary, etc. They have been very nice and kind with us. It was quite funny for us seen how they loved saying “Hello Kak Marta, hello Kak Fred” when we were having a walk around the village. We were a part of their world!

We have learnt in this month how fascinating is the Balinese culture. We lived our first Nyepi, Balinese people explained us about ceremonies, we tried Balinese culinary specialities, we could see a  kecak dance show, we climbed a volcano and we heard about Indonesian pop music groups.  Only good souvenirs we will keep in our minds!
