By Cheng Yao, Voluntourist at IHF Kenya
Nakuru, where one of the six IHF centers is located, is considered a beautiful and dramatic town in Kenya. Our volutourist experience took place here last week. Africa is an amazing place with so many unbelievable stories. The life in Nakuru will surely give us many unforgettable memories.
Volunteers in Kenya must first get used living in tough conditions as soon as possible, however, they are also warmly welcomed by many lovely children.
The picture above shows us spending a great time with children here in the Nakuru center.
This next picture shows that volunteers, children and directors all working together doing farm work in this beautiful field.
The children are allowed to play football in the playground every Saturday, and they really love it! They are amazingly gifted in playing football. We watched very skilful players on the field, even though they were very young.
